Formazione all’estero: stage retribuito a Bruxelles presso EARTO
EARTO, the European Association of Research and Technology Organisations (www.earto.eu), is a trade association representing the interests of over 350 RTOs throughout Europe.
The Association maintains a small secretariat in Brussels. Its principal tasks are tracking European research- and innovation-related policies, liaising with the European institutions, and organising working groups, conferences and other events designed to inform and facilitate exchanges among the members.
The Association has a vacancy for a policy intern starting in mid-September or as soon as possible thereafter. EARTO is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and hard-working individual, with good communication skills and the ability to meet close deadlines. The internship would last for six months. The intern will be supervised by our Policy Officer.
Assisting the Policy Officer as required.
Specific tasks might include:
Tracking news of relevance to EARTO from a variety of sources
(European institutions, general and specialist press and publications)
Attending conferences, information days and seminars at the request of the Policy Officer
Researching on various R&D and innovation-related policy issues
Preparing briefings and reports as required.
Previous policy experience, preferably Brussels-based (e.g. previous internship)
Good knowledge of and strong interest in R&D and innovation policy
Good writing and communication skills
Flexible, pro-active attitude
Good organisational and time management skills
Fluent English plus other EU languages
Useful but not essential
Previous experience in the European institutions and/or in a trade association
Previous press/PR experience
Previous experience of updating websites
A payment of €1000 per month is made to cover living costs in Brussels.
